- First Visit Orientation Day
We screen all dogs for temperament and play style on the first visit. It is a fun day of meeting and playing with the other dogs, taking leashed walks in the countryside, eating and resting in the Bunkhouse, getting to know handlers etc. The routine is simple, consistent and varies very little except the dogs that are here-- we play and walk rain or shine. It really is like camp for dogs, lots of new experiences. A special day of introductions is in store for your dog and we start early. Drop off is quick and painless between 7:30 and 8:30 am. We have a special way of introducing the new dogs into the existing dog group. We will give you a short tour and answer any questions. You will pick up your dog between 4 and 6 pm. You will get a report about how your dog interacted with other dogs, the handlers, the routines. It is a way we can all be assured this is a good fit for your dog. There is no charge for the first visit orientation unless other services are involved.
